Don Breeden grabbed the first-round lead on Monday, but the big news at the PBA50 Dave Small’s Championship Lanes Classic was the withdrawal of Pete Weber due to a recurring hip injury. The hip injury hindered Weber in late 2015 and early 2016, forcing him to withdraw from or miss multiple PBA Tour events.
