After three straight PBA Player of the Year seasons, Jason Belmonte has failed to win a title in 2016, which has given fuel to the critics of the polarizing 2-handed Australian. But at this week’s Fall Swing at Thunderbowl Lanes in the Detroit superb of Allen Park, Belmonte bowled perhaps as well as he ever has, making four of the five possible shows, capped by a dominating performance Thursday to earn the top seed for the Detroit Open, the main event of the Fall Swing....
