Tackett cruised to the lead of PBA Bear Open qualifying on Tuesday with a robust 241 average on the difficult 1.3-1 lane pattern, while Anthony Pepe holds the lead in the PBA Detroit Open with one qualifier to go at the PBA Fall Swing. After opening with a 184, the amazing ultra-high-rev right-hander fired games of 246, 234, 258, 290 and 234 at Thunderbowl Lanes in the Detroit suburb of Allen Park.
