Sunday’s Madison Area Scratch Tour tournament at Village Lanes will be the last tournament conducted on the center’s wood lanes, the Monona center announced Friday. Village Manager Mary Conklin said the changeover to synthetics will begin on Oct. 17, with one pair switched after closing each night, and all 24 lanes scheduled to be completed in time for the second annual Fall Brawl on Oct. 29-30.
