It’s called the U.S. Open, but bowling has become a global sport and like golf, most of the best in the world come to compete for the U.S. Open title. And for the second straight day, a Canadian led the U.S. Open, as Francois Lavoie fired games of 220, 164, 217, 300, 222, 246, 228 and 246 for 1,843 on the fresh squad in the second round of qualifying at South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas. Added to his 1,788 on the burn squad in the first round, Lavoie totaled 3,631 for 16 games...
