In what almost certainly was the greatest cashers round/first round of match play day in U.S. Open history, Marshall Kent went from fourth to a 327-pin lead Monday in the 2016 U.S. Open at South Point Bowling Plaza. Kent went into the cashers round in fourth and averaged more than 241 to emerge with a 50-pin lead over Francois Lavoie, as I detailed in this story.
