When E.J. Tackett failed to double in the 10th frame of the title match of the 52nd FireLake PBA Tournament of Champions on Sunday, his reaction of anger at himself said it all.
“When I missed the second one in the 10th I thought I had lost the tournament,” the 2016 PBA Player of the Year told ESPN announcer Kimberly Pressler in a post-tournament interview.
