John Marsala led Saturday’s qualifying and the cut to the top 60 took plus 7 at the Fusion Realtors/Community First National Bank Open at Maple Lanes in Waterloo, Iowa. The left-handed Marsala totaled 1,613 for the seven games to top the 184-bowler field, edging Jacob Boresch’s 1,606. Pero Dudaric was next with 1,582, followed by Brandon Biondo at 1,570 and his dad Vince Biondo with 1,566.
