A huge second round Wednesday in which he averaged more than 250, lifted Brian LeClair into the qualifying lead as the PBA50 Pasco County Florida Open headed to match play, PBA reported. After a 1,671 for seven games in Tuesday’s first round at Lane Glo Bowl in New Port Richey, Florida, LeClair fired games of 246, 268, 237, 243, 245, 258 and 256 for 1,753 in the second round and a 3,424 total for 14 games to surge past first-round leader Ron Mohr by 137 pins at 3,287. “That round...
