Coming off a stellar performance earlier this year at the 2017 USBC Open Championships, non-PBA member Todd Lathrop fired a perfect game and averaged more than 245 in taking the first-round lead at the PBA50 Johnny Petraglia BVL Open presented by Brunswick Sunday at Farmingdale Lanes in Farmingdale, N.Y., PBA reported.
