Coming off a stellar performance earlier this year at the 2017 USBC Open Championships, non-PBA member Todd Lathrop fired a perfect game and averaged more than 245 in taking the first-round lead at the PBA50 Johnny Petraglia BVL Open presented by Brunswick Sunday at Farmingdale Lanes in Farmingdale, N.Y., PBA reported. The 53-year-old electrician rolled games of 238, 236, 257, 300, 256, 214, 225 and 237 for a 1,963 total, 19 pins better than Hall of Famer Amleto Monacelli, who recovered from a...
