Coming off knee injury, Lindsay Boomershine leads first round of USBC Queens

Lindsay Boomershine skipped the last two PWBA tournaments after suffering a knee injury, but was in top form in leading Thursday’s first round of the 2017 USBC Queens, the United States Bowling Congress reported. Boomershine totaled 1,213 on games of 280, 213, 239, 214 and 267 at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to lead the 162-player field. “I just tried to stay slow and smooth and really trust myself,” the Storm staffer said in this USBC news...
