Lindsay Boomershine cruises to qualifying lead at 2017 USBC Queens
Lindsay Boomershine cooled off some but still cruised to the qualifying lead of the 2017 USBC Queens, the United States Bowling Congress reported. Boomershine, who became a mom earlier this year and is coming off a knee injury, rolled games of 196, 258, 219, 244 and 177 for a 1,094 total in Saturday’s third round at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That gave the 31-year-old right-hander and Storm staffer a 15-game total of 3,440, a 229.33 average....
