On a lane pattern in which just 20 of the 101 players could average 200 or better, Malaysia’s Siti Rahman averaged more than 222 to take an 82-pin lead over countrywoman Li Jane Sin in Friday’s qualifying at the 2017 PWBA Wichita Open. Rahman rolled games of 188, 225, 224, 202, 226 and 210 for 1.275 in the first round and then 255, 229, 249, 168, 297 and 192 for 1,390 in the second round, giving her a 12-game total of 2,665 at Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas.
