Ron Mohr is one win shy of ending almost five years of frustration. The 2-time PBA Senior Player of the Year won the last of his eight PBA50 Tour titles in August 2012 in Decatur, Illinois. Since then, he has mostly bowled well, so well last year that he was named PBA60 Player of the Year despite not winning a title. One tournament he bowled well in was the 2016 United States Bowling Congress Super Senior Classic, where he was the top seed but lost the title match to Junichi Yajima 248-218....
