Anthony Simonsen leads as top 50 in stunningly strong field advance to cashers round in Proprietors Cup VI

In a stunningly strong 250-player field arguably comparable to a USBC Masters or U.S. Open, PBA superstar Anthony Simonsen averaged 246.3 on Saturday to lead the top 50 into Sunday’s cashers round of the Proprietor’s Cup VI at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Simonsen shot 1,364 for his first 6-game block, then blasted games of 208, 279, 279, 300, 299 and 227 for 1,592 in the second 6-game block for a 12-game total of 2,956 on the modified house shot.
