Home country favorite Arturo Estrada and defending champion Jenny Wegner took the leads after Monday’s first round of qualifying in the 2017 QubicaAMF World Cup. Mexico's Estrada, a 38-year-old right-hander competing in his first World Cup, totaled 1,433 for six games to pace the 64-player men’s field at Bol 300 in Hermosillo, Mexico.
