After no members of Team USA made the medal round in singles at the 2017 World Bowling World Championships, Tommy Jones and Chris Barnes broke through in doubles on Monday at South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas. Jones totaled1,384 on games of 241, 233, 226, 222, 240 and 222, and Barnes added 1,247 on 252, 165, 233, 167, 202 and 228 for a 2,631 total that earned the No. 2 seed for Tuesday’s medal round. In the final game, they were just above the cut number before striking on...
