Francois Lavoie of Canada won the men’s gold and Dawun Jung of Korea won her second straight women’s gold in Masters on Monday at the 2017 World Bowling World Championships. Lavoie beat helicopter/spinner stylist Xu Zhe-Jia of Chinese Taipei 247-206, 216-199 in the gold medal match, after downing fellow PBA Tour champion Andres Gomez of Colombia 214-203, 221-200 in semifinals in the best-of-three competition at South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas.
