Kris Prather extended his lead from 101 to 124 pins heading into match play at the 2018 U.S. Open, but Player of the Year contender Jakob Butturff made the biggest news in Monday’s cashers round by soaring from eighth to second.
Prather rolled games of 217, 206, 226, 218, 255, 244, 224 and 210 for a 1,805 total that was the third-highest block of the 36 players in the cashers round at Northock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas.
